Hotels

A direct booking taken at midnight is commission you keep.

Mesa answers, reads live rates out of your PMS, books direct, and confirms in writing.

The commission you keep

A room sold at midnight belongs to you.

Every call your desk cannot take becomes a guest opening an app. The room still sells, minus a cut on every night of the stay.

    commission on an OTA booking

An after-hours call answered is a direct booking kept. That is the whole hotel argument.

On the desk

What is happening at your front desk tonight.

One person on, a check-in queue, night audit running. The phone is the fourth thing competing for the same pair of hands.

  • The booking that went through a channel

The caller books somewhere tonight. If they did not book with you on that call, they booked through a channel that takes a cut of the same room, and you pay it on every night of the stay.

  • A front desk with nobody free at it

Check-in queue, a lost keycard, night audit running, one person on. The phone is the fourth thing competing for the same pair of hands, and it is the one nobody sees you drop.

  • Pre-arrival questions eating the desk

Parking, late check-in, a cot in the room, the airport transfer, whether the pool is open. Each is two minutes taken off the desk during the exact window when the desk is worth the most.

What the guest hears

It says what it is, on every call.

Your guest is told they are speaking to an assistant before anything else happens. A person is one sentence away at any point in the call.

Questions

What hoteliers ask.

We run Oracle OPERA. Can you connect?

Yes, through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, and it is the slowest connection we do. Oracle meters every call including the sandbox, so it is a budget line and a timeline before it is a build.

Will it quote the right rate?

It reads live rates and availability out of your PMS, so it quotes what your PMS quotes. Rate plans, restrictions and minimum stays apply exactly as they do when your own desk books the room.

What about guests already staying with us?

In-house calls follow your escalation rules. Anything about a guest in the building tonight can reach a person immediately, and the routine requests get handled and logged against the reservation.

Hear it answer your phone.

Twenty minutes. We bring up a workflow on your menu or your rooms, call it together, and you decide whether it is any good.
